With their second Blu-ray release after PAN’SLABYRINTH, Senator Home Entertainment enters a new era: The Blu-rayrelease of THE ORPHANAGE which will be in stores September 29, 2008,features two audio commentaries with German subtitles – one with thedirector and writer and one with the sound designer and director ofphotography - made available via the Internet.

Other than that, with a profile 2.0 Blu-ray player or a PLAYSTATION®3 THE ORPHANAGEBlu-ray disc gives access to additional content like websites, text andpicture information to the movie, a live ticker with current senatorreleases, trailers and many more features always up-to-date viaInternet.

Both audio commentaries will be available on Monday,September 22, so that rental customers can benefit from this newfeature a week before the disc will be in stores. The disc which isavailable for rental since September 3 is currently number one of theGerman Blu-ray rental charts and thus shows the great consumer interestin THE ORPHANAGE in HD quality.
