As aready experienced on many award-winning HD DVD titles, the user interface, the Content Navigator, lets the user download or stream new, up-to-date content directly to the living room TV screen at any time.
The content is stored and managed on pre-configured servers dedicated to this purpose, while the open interface of dynamicHD also provides access to third-party server structures. To enjoy the web-enabled features, please make sure that you player is connected to the internet and the latest firmware version is installed.
Please follow the steps below to set up your Internet connection:

1. Connect to the internet via your player's Ethernet port.
2. Set the DHCP and DNS settings both in the player's Setup menu to ON.
3. Set the player's date and time correctly. You can either do this manually in you player's
setup menu or by setting the Network Time Protocol (NTP) to ON.
To ensure your player has the latest firmware or software installed, please check your hardware manufacturer's website for latest firmware of software updates. If upgrades are available it is suggested that you follow its installation instructions.
Error Message:
The network cable is not plugged into your player or your wireless LAN is not activated. Please
connect your HD DVD player to the internet and try again.
Solution:
The HD DVD player is unable to connect to the server. This error occurs when the player is not connected
to the internet - please make sure that your player is connected to the internet (e.g. via the Ethernet
connection or wireless LAN). To connect your player to the internet please refer to your player's manual
and follow its setup instructions for DHCP, DNC, and Proxy. For further instructions on how to connect
your player to the network click here.
If the error occurs permanently please contact the player manufacturer or disc producer for further support.

To check if it can connect to the server the player first attempts to make a TCP connection to the
server before it sends an HTTP request. If this TCP connection fails a timeout may occur.
To resolve the problem please try the following:
1. Ensure that the player is connected to the internet (e.g. via the Ethernet connection or wireless LAN).
2. The server may be temporarily unavailable. Please wait a few minutes and try again later.
3. If the error occurs permanently please contact the player manufacturer or disc producer for further support.

How to Delete Persistent Storage? (Toshiba Gen 1 Player)
1. Press the "Setup" button on the remote control of the Toshiba Player.
2. Select "General" on the Set Up Menu screen.
3. Press the ">" right arrow key on remote to activate the menu on the right side.
4. Select the "Maintenance" option in this menu.
5. Press "Ok" to go to the Maintenance section.
6. Select "Persistent Storage" in the Maintenance section and press Ok.
7. Now press the "Setup" button on your remote control.
8. Now you see the "Persistent Storage Management Menu".
9. Select "Fixed Persistent Storage" and press Ok.
10. Select and delete the data listed in this section.
11. Press "B" button on your remote control to go back to the previous menu.
12. Press "B" again to end.
